2008 In 2008 Adam Jones, a previous IT Navy veteran who was still active duty at the time, was selected as a sponsor to a newly arriving person on her way to Japan. He realized the lack of information that was accessible to personnel reporting to Japan. He assisted the reporting person as best as he could, but realized there needed to be a better resource. Adam noticed the lack of capabilities with the official websites, and with his programming background he found fond of building a great resource which wouldn't be restricted by regulations, and could assist anyone in the future to have a much smoother process.
