    Hi all,
Where do you usually hang out during the week-end if you visit Tokyo? I am Canadian and live in Tokyo. When I go out for drinks with friends, we only run into English teachers and financial people :doze: . It would be good to have a chat with different type of people once in a while.

    Thx,
    Max

Ropponghi is becoming a no fly area for at least the sailors now. Most places are either Yakuza owned, Triad owned, extremely expensive, or other s**t. I've actually met alot of english speakers and Americans in Ikebukero and Akihibara.

I think a lot of the Sailors (from this base) hang out around Yokohama, Kamakura, and of course Yokosuka. Tokyo is a bit too far since the trains stop running early.

There is a lot of good spots right around the station in Yokohama, I def see lots of gaijin out and about. Too me it's a lot more easy going than the socialite style you can run into in Tokyo.

I would head to shibuya or shinjiku when I went up that way to Tokyo.
