    Current Condition:(TCCOR) II.

    All Commander Fleet Activities, Yokosuka military installations are now in Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) II. Winds of 50 knots or greater are anticipated within 24 hours. Secure outside items, secure windows and alert your commands’ essential personnel.

    All schools on board Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka will be CLOSED on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 due to severe weather. This includes school at the Negishi and Ikego housing detachments.

    Please contact your child's school with any questions.

    Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) is currently in TCCOR II.

    TCCOR I is expected to be declared later this evening, once declared, the following will apply and be in affect until TCCOR All Clear is declared.

    * All non-essential personnel should remain at home and in doors.

    Only essential personnel should report for duty.

    Contact your chain of command to find out if you are essential.

    * Shuttle bus service (Home-to-Work, Narita Bus, and Base Shuttle) is cancelled.

    * USNH Yokosuka will remain open to provide emergency services. Patients who need emergency care should enter the hospital through the emergency
    room entrance. All patients with routine appointments scheduled for Thursday will be contacted by a hospital representative to reschedule.

    Patients with labor and delivery questions may call 243-5311; all other patients may call 243-7144 for information, 24 hours a day.

    * Womble Gate secured.

    * The following will be closed on board CFAY.
    - DoDEA Schools
    - Yokosuka Navy Exchange
    - Yokosuka Commissary
    - Negishi NEX/ Commissary
    - Ikego NEX/Commissary
    - Child Development Center
    - Galley
    - MWR facilities
    - Gas station/mini-mart

    * If you are concerned about flooding or your safety in your off base residence, contact the Emergency Operation Center at 243-1701, 1702, 1703, 1704 and 1705 for temporary emergency accommodations on base.

    * Contact the CFAY Emergency Operations Center at 243-1701, 1702, 1703, 1704, and 1705 with any further questions or concerns.
