Set up a meeting with Mr. Robert Long of Fleet and Family Support Center; he runs the Family Readiness Employment Program and has been in Japan and on-base for a long time. He offers many employment workshops as well. He can give you information about: Civilian/Federal employment on-base; contractors on-base; home-based businesses, etc. Its a good person/place to seek out when starting your job search in Yokosuka, Japan. When/if you attend AOB, he presents during the week and you will have a chance to meet/talk with him. Best of luck to you.
