Hello,

I am currently in Yokosuka (government employee) and I applied for and was selected for another GS job in Japan.   The job has a mandatory pre-employment drug test.   The HRO at the other base has put the request for me to take a drug test in the system and says someone will contact me to take the test.  

Now I have a few questions that the HRO rep could not answer.

1.  Anyone have experience with this?  If so, who will contact me? 
2.  Are the tests done locally or are the samples sent CONUS for analysis?
3.  How long does it take to get the results back?

Needless to say all the paperwork for the job is on hold until the test is complete.   Any information would be helpful.

The only place I can think of is the Hospital Laboratory. They will be able to see if the other "base" put in a request for you, they would also be able to answer the last 2 questions if they are the one doing the drug testing.
