    (this is my first time to write in JP).. we are about to move to iwakuni in august. and i am thankful for the blogs here for letting me have an idea how does the houses in japan might look like. so,we are planning to ship some of our stuff in Manila in case wont fit in the house we will live in.

    Where do you live now? Is your move being paid for by DOD, or are you paying for the move yourself?

    Why not put your stuff in storage where you are now instead of bringing it to Iwakuni & then sending it to Manila? Bring as little as you can; you can buy good used furniture here pretty cheaply if you want.

    were still in puerto rico.
    i will be paying for the shipment. i dont know if its cheaper to ship from here to manila or from iwakuni. those are my personal stuff. tnx
