My family is planning to drive to Fuji-Q Highland. How long does it take to drive from Yokosuka?

I've driven there before. We drove to Camp Fuji from Yokosuka, then from Camp Fuji to Fuji-Q.

Sorry, I hit submit before I was ready.

The above map has tolls.  I'm not sure how much.  If you have a little bit more time and want to save some money on tolls you can get there by driving through Hakone.

The way through Hakone only has about (I think) 750yen each way.  There is a 250yen toll near Odawara, and another one that I think is about 500yen between Gotenba and Fujikawaguchiko.

    Hope this was some help.

Thanks Gaijin. It's nice to see on a map. This is our first time driving long distance and we have 2 year old with us so we're a little nervous. Was it an easy drive for you?

The driving isn't bad, but I enjoy driving places.

I usually take the route through Hakone. I like the twisty scenic route. You start with a nice long drive along the ocean then a twisty road through the mountains.

Either route you can get stuck in traffic. The toll roads are quicker, but the Hakone route is cheaper (another reason I like it better).

    To avoid toll roads:

When you select GO from the favorite screen it will give you time to destination from your location.

There's another amusement park nearby the area that is not quite as crazy named Grinpa.

Thanks for the info and tips Yokota. I'm sure using a GPS is much easier. I will look into that.

    Yokota,

Is that one of the places that was favorited on my GPS? Just curious.

I just added it because someone above wanted directions, it's not in your favorites already but if you want to add it or any other location just do this:

Get the Coordinates, I used Google Earth to find them (N 35'29'04.5" E138'46.39.3)

    Press Here

    Press Here

    Press Here

On this screen it will allow you to change the coordinates when you press on the touch screen in that area.  After you modify them, double check the coordinates and then press View on Map.

On the View on Map screen it will show you the exact location so you can confirm it again.

(again always double check the coordinates, and view the map
you can even see the roller coaster displayed on the map view, the actual location I chose is where you would park your car.)

    Press Here

    Press Here

After you enter the name Press Here on the "DONE" button.

You can put any name you want, you can also change the name too after it's saved.

Just shoot me an email if you have any troubles.

I was just thinking about something, I believe you have the 1365 model, the steps are exactly the same but the layout is a little different.  Like your down arrow is on the bottom right of the screen.  I have step by step instructions of your model with pictures here, just scroll down a little and you will see it.
