Wondering if anyone has used Agoda to make reservations for a hotel in Tokyo since the New Sanno is always sold out, I wanted to know when you check in is there additional costs that are not listed on the final cost listed on Agoda, any suggestions thanks

Agoda is one of my favorite web sites. I have used them extensively throughout Asia for 5 years, booking rooms in Thailand, Korea, Japan & Hong Kong. When you pay Agoda online, you'll be sent a voucher. Print & bring it to the hotel and it will accepted as full payment. There are no extra costs at the hotel. In maybe 30 times using it, this has worked perfectly every time. Use the Search box at the top of this page to search for Agoda and you will see the many times I have recommended it.

I find them invariably to have the best prices on hotels throughout Asia. Also, the reviews & comments by travelers are unvarnished; you'll get a good sense of a place by reading the reviews.

Another thing... I'm not one to really use loyalty points or programs -- I think they're mostly scams -- but you do earn points with Agoda very rapidly if you sign up for an account (it's possible to use the site without an account.) So on maybe 1/3 of my bookings I get another $20 off by cashing in points.

    Good luck in your travels!

Thanks Thai Guy, I heard that some hotel charge for children and Agoda does not seem to list children on the room charges, I have a 10 year old and 5 year old, and with double beds we usually don't need more than two beds. Do you know if they charge extra for children.
