Does anyone know of a good store where I can find crafting supplies? I don't just mean a place to buy fabric but all sorts of crafting supplies (beads, paper, etc.). Thanks!

Tokai in Daiei mall (3 or 4th floor)
Sukiya (sp?) on Blue Street
Kanaxawaya In Terrace Mall (Chigasaki)
and Daiso has a a fair selection of crafting supplies

There is a hobby shop on the 3rd floor of the Community Readiness Center. I go there every once in a while when my kids are doing Kumon.

Have you been to kamakura? Not the one with the Buddha but the kamakura station in jr that when you get off has this temple. They got the entire street full of all sorts of craft store from Japanese paper, fabric and they even have that Japanese umbrella that only shows the design when wet. You should try going there. And it would be like to see the place n shop at the same time.

Thanks! I've been to the one in the Fleet and Family and its a little sad. I know they don't have much space and they try to get as much as they can in there but I am looking for something akin to a Michael's. I'll try all of the other suggestions though! Thanks again!

Hello, I know the perfect place. Take the train to Yokohama and got to the BayQuarter Building go to the 5th floor I believe .there is a big Craft department store there its just like Michaels from fabric to ,lace, to crystals to fur and etc. They have it all and a very large variety but expect to pay Japanese Prices. I go to BayQuarter alot and go to this tore for my hobby needs.Its next to Actus dept. Here is a link
