Hi Lisa, welcome to Japan. I just wanted to mention the couple places I have bought some stuff for my kids and liked. In the Daiei Mall on the Fourth Floor (and some on the 2nd floor) towards the back there is a store that has a ton of really cute kid clothes, shoes and pajamas. They have a ton of other stuff too. They have a little arcade of sorts right next to it that I send my husband and kids to while I pick up the clothes I want for them. Also at the Sikaya Mall on the Fifth floor I believe, there is a few stores there that has some really cute kid clothes too. Both the malls have ton of stores with tons of kids clothes those are just the ones I've gone to more than once to look for things and are both within walking distance of the base. I also second what Jessica said, Livin and Ave have a ton of great stuff (including kids clothes) too and is a very short distance by cab. Definitely measure first though because you will need to know what size to get for your daughter.

Can someone tell me where Red Lobster is located? I read on here that there is no longer one in Yokosuka?? What would be the nearest one to the main base and if you have driving directions that would be great as well

Thanks!!

For those of you who are looking for the best deal on fresh fruits and vegetables, the DAICHI shop in the Blue Street arcade is your best bet. A little past McDonalds on the right you will find great deals and very fresh produce.

Hi can anyone tell me where to find a good kids/toy store. I am looking for one of those Velcro wallets that you give to kids when they first start out with an allowance. I seen some at the Kids store which they only have quicksilver, which i believe are for older kids, and the main store only has plain ones for the guys. I am looking for a Trasformers or a Cars 2 wallet for my 8 yr old, for a stocking stuffer this weekend. Can anyone help me out in a hurry? I have a car so getting there is not a problem with google maps lol but I dont want to drive too far seeing as we just got here about a month ago. Thanks in advance.

Livin and ave is a little farther than your usual walking distance. It's not close on base. But if your going you should check out Don Quijote as well. Or often called don qui. It's a variety store. They got everything from food, bike, appliances to your unusual needs. Good luck.

Hi nene .. Order online , if you want something here american size , I suggest taking your girls to Forever 21 or HM or gap. Yes, you have to take the train or drive to get there but you will find what you are looking for. I shop those places alot for myself and my daughter who is 8 and son who is 2 . Also the Marina outlet is not worth it... The outlets here in Japan is not the same in USA.

I have two teens they like the store called Honey's there is one is Livin and Daie.  They also hop on the train and go to H&M and Forever 21 in Yokohama.  As long as they have money and a pasmo card...my girls can find clothes.
