The selection here on base (at least in Yokosuka) is not very big. At the very least, I would get the big stuff back home (ie- nursery furniture, gliders, etc....) and have them put it in your HHG shipment. It will probably be around the same price (especially if you buy it on a base back in the States). Right now, with the yen rate where it's at.... EVERYTHING is more expensive out in town.

The selection on base was so small (like 1 or 2 cribs to pick from and maybe 1 changing table) and they don't carry gliders all the time. I would definitely get what you can in the states and have it shipped with your stuff over here.
