I am not sure if you are being funny, or just really rude. But I am not an idiot! You can make fun all you want, but that isn't cute. Even if you were slightly serious, you will never drift an R35. Paddle shifters do not count when it comes to a manual!! It will never be the same!! SORRY! Good try though.

Well please excuse me, but I wasn't being funny nor rude. I was asking a legitimate question. Now onto your extreme knowledge of cars. Why wouldn't I be a able to drift an R35?!?! I mean you do know that you can turn off TRC and VDC right?!?! I am just checking, because if you can drift a bone stock automatic vehicle, what would make imposible to drift a R35?!?! I am now seeking your vast knowledge of vehicles as you make yourself seem.
And please like I said before I am looking for an 34GT-R drift spec, also as I stated money is not an issue, so if you wanna be serious about your "car dealing" prowesses pleasse let me know. If not i will take my the bussiness elsewhere.
Thank you and have a great day.

Ps: I guess you can only drift M/T vehicles right?!?!

you can drift any vehicle that has the power to go sideways. I was just saying that an r35 isnt really the best car to drift in my opinion. I like to physically feel the car when i am driviing a car. ie a maual stick. I like to feel the full process when driving a manual car. Thats all. and I was just making sure you weren`t making fun like some of the people on this forum has done. If you are really serious, yes I can get you the car you want. Please email me @ bnlichtefeld@hotmail.com

Thank you!

I was able to drift a '96 MPV and a '88 300E back in my day.  Both automagical transmission.   No kidding.  Just saying, from experience.

R35 would very difficult to drift. It has a pretty aggressive and adaptive AWD system, which blesses it with great handling, but is more centered on giving it the most grip possible. That being said, a very heavy car like the R35 would be a handful to drift. Also, "any car with enough power" isn't the requirement to drift. The proper drive-train (no, FWD cars cannot is required. Power doesn't really become important until you either very good, or have a very large space and not afraid to spend lots of money on tires....

I just read the first few pages of this thread and my main comment is that this is not the way you do business. As was said earlier, if you cannot take the time to make sure that the words you put out to potential clients are carefully chosen and formatted, how can I possibly trust you to give me a vehicle you have properly inspected?

In sales, you are selling yourself as much as you are selling your product. I don't mean this to be rude or hurtful, but Mrs. Lichtefeld, you are not very good at selling yourself here. face to face transactions are much different than selling via the internet. Here, in this thread, you come across as very emotional and somewhat of a lose cannon. This may just be your passion for what you do, but it doesn't translate very well in a binary world.

I didn't say it was impossible to drift, I said it was difficult to drift. The two videos you posted were highly modified GT-Rs driven by expert drivers. Nobuteru Taniguchi was D1 champ in that series inaugural season, and the other was formula D with a car heavily modified for drifting. They're great videos, and I am not doubting the GT-Rs ability, but for the average end user, drifting any AWD car on tarmac (like the team orange WRXs or these GT-Rs) , or modifying it to RWD, is a somewhere between impractical and insane. Here is a great video of AWD drifting on tarmac.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewxrNSOKFow

Look at the difference between this and your videos, in AWD drift, your using it for rotation and braking in less then ideal conditions, rather then to link several corners. The great rally drivers to watch do this is Gigi Galli and Colin McCrae.
