This past weekend I went to Yokohama Hair Salon.   www.yokohamahairsalon.com and had full highlights and cut and style.  It turned out great.  The lady who owns the salon spent 12 years doing hair in Beverly Hills, CA and has lots of experience with all hair types.  It did take four hours to do my hair, and it was kind of pricey at $240 but my hair turned out great.

Two months ago I had my hair done at the salon on Ikego and she made my overall colour way too dark and gave me the chunkiest unnatural blond highlights ever. I hate it but haven't wanted to go back and was afraid of getting it done in town knowing most salons don't know how to handle fine American hair. I even left early without even getting it cut because obviously she couldn't understand what I wanted so I was not about to let her touch me with scissors.

Jessica is a new woman who works at the Yokosuka beauty salon, and she does a FANTASTIC job! I just had her do blonde highlights in my hair. I told her I wanted it to look super natural, and she did a great job. I will definitely be using her in the future. She used to work at a salon in Orange County. If you live around Yokosuka, I would recommend giving her a try. She's also really friendly. I am so incredibly picky when it comes to my hair, and I get nervous when I let someone do something to it for the first time, but I love my new cut and color.

I second Jessica. She recently did my hair; cut, color, and highlights and it turned out awesome. I was so nervous since the person in the states has been doing my hair for years and my hair is difficult to cut and color resistant. Highly recommend her, and the price is great!

Thanks!  I went to Shape in Tokyo once.  They did a great job, but getting there was not fun, even coming from Yokohama.  I'm very happy to hear of good place in Yokohama!
