The next production for TIP's Second Stage comes to us straight outta Texas in this hilarious two-person play.

 

Greater Tuna is a hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers in a tour de farce of quick change artistry, both of costumes and of comic characterizations, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna—men, women, children and animals.

Starring Bob Werley and Anastasia Van Allen. Directed by Andrew Martinez.

I saw you in the Ja-Pun performance at Kinnick Little Theatre a couple of months ago. Great job, especially when you were imitating a Japanese tourist guide.

And you are doing Of Mice and Men? Most of my students read that as an outside-of-the-class reading project. Hmmm. I wonder if I can get a deal on tickets? I shall find out!

You can now add events, which is pretty cool to see how many attendees are scheduled to show up. You can do this in the events section of the group, and invite all group members.
