Does anyone know where to buy swimming goggles in the local area?  We already looked at Fleet Rec and they are out and not ordering till summer.  Daiei is also out of stock due to the season.  I am hoping  there is a sports store in Yokosuka or even Yokohama.

We order swim goggles and gear from www.swimoutlet.com I ususally get it in a week or two.

There is one pair at the Second Hand Rose thrift store. They were on the shelf Tuesday afternoon - they should still be there. They looked like they were in really good shape. Might hold you over until you can find exactly what you are looking for. The store is open tomorrow from 9-2.

I don't think I would try walking all the way to Livin. It is probably about 5 miles, depending on where you start on base.

According to Google Maps it's about 3.1km walk from the Commissary (I picked that as a central area on base) to Livin.  Double that it's 6.2 km (just under 4 miles) round trip.  It's about 2km from the the bus stop near Womble Gate, doubled to 4km (2.5 miles) round trip.

Yeah is not far. From Womble Gate to Livin is a 20min walk and very easy to find.

Thanks so much. We are staying at the Gate Way Inn right next to the Womble gate. Looks like a fairly easy walk to Livin.

If you ever plan a field trip to Yokota afb the pool has them there for $20. Just bought a pair yesterday.
