It's been FOR-EVEEERR since we've done any kind of meet-up. So, now that the kiddies are in school more of you will be free, so what say you --Would you guys like to do lunch one day? (And maybe we can set up dinner and drinks down the road. )

Anyone got a good spot for groups? And what time works for the peeps with kids --11 or 12? Suggestions, suggestions, please!

Well at Daiei there's tonkatsu, Shabu Shabu (I haven't been there though). Plenty of Indian but I know people aren't hot on that. Thai... I was thinking a nice cafe would be neat also --like Bagel Bagel but unfortunately that closed. :/

Adam had shirts made for the last JB.com party/site in general and they were handed out to everyone who attended. Stay tuned --I think there may be some more coming in the near future.

Maybe TGIF? I wanted to do Japanese but I know we have picky eaters and we've already done shabu shabu and yakiniku.

Where's TGIF? I'd like to go. I'll have my 15 month old daughter... but, I promise, she's a good little girl.

TGIF is right off of Blue Street before Chuo station (but on the other side of the street). So not very far from base at all. (They have a great Happy Hour everyday between 1700-1900 if anyone goes there for dinner in the future.)

I'll make a map soon for the event if we're locked on TGIF. And don't let the kiddies hold you back, I want everyone to attend.

Apparently they open at 1130. So we'll have to move the time up obviously, and since we'll be there when the doors open we may not need reservations... unless we get a really big group so they can set it up. So let me know still!

Hey guys, I was talking about lunch and we're going to switch it to Station Grill. We think we'll get better and faster service there (some people may be on their lunch break). And I think our group may be rather large and that place is spacious. Their fare isn't too different than TGIF as it's Western, just not as many choices.

Sorry for the change, but we're still doing this on Thursday! They open at 11 AM --so lets go for that.

It's a restaurant in front/off to the side of Daiei that's red and kind of looks like a train... station, lol. So not very from base at all!

I'll make a map when we confirm everything. Right now I guess we may be looking at a group of 10-15+! So we'll make sure to make reservations since it's a bog group --so lemme know if you're coming.

Yeah, sorry about the change, we think it may be for the better since some people will be on a time crunch.

Reservations have been made (Thank you Adam and Yuko), and we have the party room which can hold a very large group --so don't hold back and come!!! The only downside is they can't split the bill for big groups so bring your smaller bills/change to make life easier, lol.

Alright, so tomorrow lunch at Station Grill @ 11 A.M. The restaurant doesn't open 'til 11 so I'll probably be outside a few minutes beforehand. If you get there after 11 we'll be inside --the party room.

I took the map from their site. The "Shoppers Plaza Yokosuka" = Daiei. Station Grill is located to the side of Daiei (street level), next to a Thai restaurant, and before the park. It is also right next to the pedestrian bridges that cross 16.

Once again, they will not split our bill (which is typical with large groups anyway), so please bring smaller bills and change if you have it --it's make things MUCH easier.
