Head Coach is Grandmaster Dr. Kane. He is a former World champion in JiuJitsu, Karate & Kickboxing. He has been on the path of Budo (Japanese for Martial Arts) for over 30 years.

Directions: Walk out the Womble Gate at Yokosuka Naval Base and turn left. Go straight ahead after 2-3 mins you at your Gym/Dojo. You can wear a T-shirt with a shorts or a jogging or sports pants. tomorrow is only 1 Hour training! Jugoshinjutsu (Self defence) & Kickboxing/Muay Thai for Kids and Adults 18:00-18:55 in Yokosuka in the General Welfare Hall 7th Floor.

When you want come today. The General Welfare Hall is this big tower building by the Main Gate, we train today in the 7Floor. But the best is I pickup you on the main gate, is really only 200ft from the main gate, but very hard to find. Please call me when on the main gate. My Number is 080 3732 1275.

what do you suggest for weight loss and fitness

A sport with an intense cardio workout like Kickboxing. Kickboxing is like Boxing but you use your legs too with an intense cardio workout. Is Fitness and Fun. Now 50% of the Members are women! The most want lose weight, become more fit & more confident. The most women in their 30's & 40's. I'm a dietary adviser and can help you with diet tips etc. But losing weight is with my kind of training not so hard, but hold you weight is for the most people the really problem and I can help you with this too.

The most women train Light Contact Kickboxing. Muay Thai is like Kickboxing, but is only Full Contact and you not only punch and kick you use your knees, elbows too and Clinch and neck wrestling.


When you not like punching and kicking try JiuJitsu andGrapping and I teach very soon a Fitness Class is a Power cardio workout.

NEW! We teach Wing Chun too on Tuesday from 18:00-18:55 and on Thursday from 20:00-20:45.Starting this Thursday!

I would like some info on the MMA class, who teaches it and what is the cost? I am a sailor who gets deployed often is it pay per class or membership? I would love more information on it as I have wanted to MMA with out a gym near me for over a year.

Hi Andy, cost for Adults $25-$70 per month, but you can pay per class or month. We have now two Professional MMA Fighter and I hope very soon we have more, but our Gym is very new. I teach the most classes, I a Black Belt or Master in over 10 Martial Arts and a former World champion in JiuJitsu & Kickboxing and fought in over 500 Full Contact fights and do Martial Arts now for over 30 Years and teach for 20 Years. I checked out the Facebook page, looking good! We can't wait to get out there. My 10 year old (He'll be 11 when we get there in June) is currently enrolled in Brazilian JiuJitsu and LOVES it. I am so excited that there will be a gym close. He also really wants to try Muay Thai.

Here a littel Description, what is what:

Kickboxing involves lots of physical combat. It is like Boxing but you use your legs too with an intense cardio workout. It is Fitness and Fun.

Muay Thai is like Kickboxing but with Knee, Elbow and clinc. Muay Thai is one of our most intense cardio and body conditioning classes.

Jugoshinjutsu is a type of Japanese JiuJitsu. It is a style designed only for self-defense.

JiuJitsu is grapping.

Hapkido! Its style is based on Taekwondo, Aikido, Tang Soo Do and JuJutsu. Hapkido is a dynamic and eclectic Korean martial art. It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, Breakfall techniques, kicks, punches, and other striking attacks. Is a mix Martial Art its employing "soft" techniques similar to JuJutsu and Aikido as well as "hard" techniques reminiscent of Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do.

Wing Chun Kung Fu is a concept-based Chinese Martial Art and form of self-defense utillizing both striking and grappling while specializingin close-range combat.

MMA is a mixture of Stand Up Striking (kicks and punches, elbows and knees), Take Downs, Ground Fighting. The best is when you also train in our JJ and Muay Thai classes. This is not a must but is strongly suggested!!

Ninjitsu is the ancient art of the ninja shadow warriors of Japan. Ninjutsu involves both unarmed and armed fighting skills, along with philosophy, strategy, and history. Historically it is a collection of skills involving espionage and unconventional warfare.

On 5/4 is a open Japanese full contact martial arts Tournament in Tokyo, is open for all styles and I know Guys from Kickboxing, Wing Chun, Karate, Boxing & MMA come to this tournament. Is more a beginner tournament. I hope few our guys can and want fight there!

No sorry. But you work in Yokosuka? Your Gym is only 2mins from the Womble Gate and we open very soon a new gym/Dojo in yokohama.

where you want train in your gym in yokosuka by the base or in our new gym in yokohama?

Two our Instructors starting this Week teaching in the Base:Boxing, Kickboxing and Thaiboxing/Muay Thai. But very soon starting JiuJitsu, Wing Chun Kung Fu and Kids Classes too.

Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 1900-2100
Subscription: $40.00/month
Place: James D. Kelly Fleet Martial Arts Room (5th Floor. Room) in the U.S. Navy base Yokosuka Japan.

Instructors:
- Kanei Sensei is a Grandmaster with a 6th degree Black Belt (6Dan) in Kickboxing and he is a Master in Thai-Boxing, otherwise known as Muay Thai. He is also a former amateur and professional World champion in Kickboxing/Thai-Boxing. He has been practicing Boxing & Kickboxing for over 30 years and teaching for over 20 Years. He was an amateur National Champion and sparring partner for several amateur and professional World Champions in Boxing.
- Livingston Sensei is a 1st Kyu Brown Belt in Kick Boxing, and equally qualified in Thai-Boxing. He has studied boxing for 3 years now, and is getting ready to enter Japanese Kick Boxing competitions.
