2009 Safety, Health and Environmental Fair – Get ready for the 101 days of summer! Come out to the 2009 Yokosuka Joint Safety, Health and Environmental Fair May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the red brick area. Many Navy and Japanese organizations have teamed up to present a variety of informational and interactive events for everyone. There will be a seatbelt crash simulator you can try, bicycle safety inspections, tune-ups and registration, an earthquake simulator, vehicle safety check demonstrations, child finger printing with McGruff the crime fighting dog, environmental awareness information, lifesaving skills’ information, Mount Fuji information, skate park safety information and more. USNH Yokosuka and the Japanese health insurance society will provide health checks to include blood pressure and Body Mass Index results. Bugs R’ Us from the hospital will have all kinds of creepy crawlers on display and tell you how to get rid of them. We hope to see you there!
