He complained to Adam, the owner of this site to delete all of post that I'm looking for him. I am a Japanese lady who loaned the military guy more than 10,000US$, and he said he doesn't have money to return for a year. He kicked out military now. He responded to my email and keep saying "be patient, be patient" for long time. In the Original IOU, he was supposed to start returning money last October which is 500USD or 1,000USD. But never return. And in the IOU, it said " if not paid as what amount listed, legal action may be taken on the individual." He didnt tell me his address so I doubt he will say" be patient" forever. But I have a right to sue him. I really need this money back.

That's too bad that Adam deleted the posts.....I think they really helped keep the pressure on this guy to pay what he owes. If you're reading this, Mr. Lodge, man up and pay the lady! Nice try, but he gave up all claims to privacy when he posted on a public forum. Unless he is innocent, he can't even pursue slander. Facebook pics are public domain per their user agreement. PM me if you want to sue me, dirtbag. I hate thieves and liars, which you are both. You will make someone a nice girlfriend in a Japanese prison.

My advice: post his name and your problem on every forum you can. If any employer googles his name, they will know what kind of person he is. This will get his attention. Post it to veterans site, stars and stripes forums, anywhere you can.

For Makami-san, and everyone else. I have spoken with this individual regarding this situation. This is not a threat to stop this forum but I am highly advising you not to abuse the terms and agreements with this site. An individual posted something as well as a facebook photo that violates the terms of his current employer and of this website. I have and am contacting the individual who is looking for me and handling this matter on personal means. This personal matter is not something all of you are to discuss with the public because it will go up in a legal matter that you are responding, placing my private information on a public website WITHOUT my consent, and its illegal. Two individuals in this forum and the previous forum are being looked at now as I have reported them. Be careful! This is a personal matter that the individual and I are handling on our own effectively.

I'm using this thread because I can't handle my problem with the guy. It's personal matter, but I've never agreed the delay of refund, and he never paid me and just said "be patient". Why he always takes advantage of me even though I AM A CREDITOR. I kept in touch with him indivisually for more than 6months asking for my money back, but never refund. He knew I needed the money when my father was in the hospital. He said he deposit some money but he didn't. I need someone's help. So I decide to put the thread here. He emailed me this today. He has a better chance of getting pregnant than causing someone to lose their job, so I wouldn't worry about that. You CAN use amy forum you prefwr as long as you don't convey a threat or conduct in slander, you will be legally clear. If he is actually working with you, you may want to take the problem offline. If you can afford it and know which US state he resides, you may be best advised to file a suit at the local level. The total amout generally ecxeeds the small claims cutoff, but if you would be willing to take a reduced settlement, this is your best option to secure a judgement against him. This would allow you to place a lein against items such a tax returns, etc. Good luck in sorting you issue. Do not be intimidated by hollow threats.

In order to prove defamation, he has to show damages. I'm not sure what damages he has other than his bruised ego from you airing his dirty laundry out for everyone to see. Now, if you made all this up and tried to maliciously make him look bad, then he "might" have a case.....but, again, he has to show damages. The rest of us are protected under the First Amendment to publicly talk about this if we so please. I find it insulting that he thinks "he" can tell us what we can and cannot say on a public forum. He said earlier that "this is a personal matter that the individual and I are handling on our own effectively." Hopefully that is the case. Maybe once he starts to make good on his obligation to pay, then you can have the site owner remove this thread (although, I don't think you have to do any such thing, but if he's making a good faith effort to pay, then you might want to consider it).

I am a lawyer, this appears to be a threat with no merit to it. I don't know what laws would apply to this site, but telling someone that they will get in trouble for trying to find a debtor by trying to find their personal information online will never fly with any court I know of. I haven't seen anything defamatory, just that you are trying to find some guy who you say owes you money. Don't let him bully you into giving up your search.

I hate to break it to this guy but his info is already all over the internet. The second you get a credit card or a piece of mail or omg facebook its on the interwebz buddy! On the other hand I think Kuro has some potential as a debt collector. So if she ever decieds to move to the states, I know a company that would hire her for her talents.

This is a threat correctly indeed. A person trying to find someone is ok BUT you cannot post Facebook photos or an e-mail address about a person on a website without their consent. Please return to the user agreements and privacy policy of this website. Again, two people are in trouble because one person that this individual visited at a car dealership violated his company's privacy policy by placing disclosed information on a public website without consent. If you apply for a mobile phone in the States, Verizon Wireless of AT&T will make you sign a user agreement stating they will NOT use your social security number for other means but for your services you are applying. Give your social security number to an AT&T representative and find out two months later he/she has disclosed your information to the public and signed up for an illegal credit card under your name. He/she will be in trouble! Two individuals on this site are facing legal action and possible job loss because the individuals undisclosed information, regarding of first amendments, or 58th amendments, because they both (from their business computers) disclosed privacy information about this particular individual this person is looking for on a public site without consent.

Hate to tell ya, but you aren't covered by the user agreement or the privacy act here. Your ssn isn't on display, and no one on this site signed a non-disclosure agreement as a condition of membership. If anyone loses their job, they can take action against the employer. Personally, with your track record, you don't have much credibility. I will advise you again regarding threats; as they can get you in more hot water than your apparent debt evasion misdeeds ever will. Debt is civil in nature, threats are criminal. We learned this in the first year of law school. You objections on this forum are simply supporting the allegations against you. Evasiveness and veiled threats make you seems desperate and guilt, as we all by now suspect you are.

You guys are all on the right track with this guy. Pay your debt and stop making threats. If you have a legitimate dispute that you don't owe the debt, focus on that, not hiding and threatening people trying to find you. I'd be interested to hear from the people allegedly facing legal action from their attempts to find a deadbeat to hear what his arguments really are. I can pretty much guarantee you there's nothing to it.

Well, if he continues to not pay you can always find some of the online scammers (like the Nigerian Prince with $1million for you) and provide them the guys name, SSN and DOB. You might not get your money, but those scammers might make his life difficult.

Pensions are paid "monthly" as a benefit and pension funds control relatively large amounts of capital. Your parents paid "well above" the amount because retirement, what we consider as a thrift savings or retirement in the U.S., is what the employee pays for that allotment. There may had been a little taken out from their fund because every person is "REQUIRED" in Japan to have a pension or retirement of some sort. I know that from my readings. You are not struggling financially because you are currently working, whereas I am not. So, to pay you will be paid accordingly. I do not believe your father lost his sight that quickly. For a person to loose sight, they do not place him/her in the same room with another individual because its an infection issue. I do not believe you will marry soon because if your parent's met him/her, how can they trust ANY guy since you had me meet them, you allotted funds for me to borrow and I am paying back to you, and your parents immediately allow you to bring someone else to their house. That is "rude" on your part and disrespectful as well. Your father lost his sight so you are worried about getting married, rather than trying to prepare for me to pay you back, allowing your parents to trust another man. Your father lost his sight and is improving maybe in his medical and you are selfish, worried about marriage, not their health. You are very different for a Japanese person.
