Editors note: The following is a letter of thanks to Commander Fleet Activities Yokohama Detachment and Fleet Industrial Supply Center Yokohama Detachment from the Negishi Region Children’s Association Liaison Committee Chairman Kuniaki Hara:

Thank you for the invitation to your recent Halloween party. It was the first time both adults and children from our association ever experienced Halloween. They all really had a great time. On the way home, the children carried their bags filled with candy proudly. I think it was a wonderful opportunity for our kids to experience Halloween and to leave with some great memories. I sincerely appreciate your invitation and numerous support during the event. If there are any future events at Negishi Housing, please invite us again. I would also like to express my appreciation for the volunteers who helped us during the event. Please let your Officer in Charge know that the children had a really great time. I don’t know how to show our appreciation for all your efforts and hospitality during this event except to say “thank you very much.” We look forward to seeing you again soon.
