I buy them all the time. I buy the mini ones so we can all share them and I save one to keep. I usually get them at Livin or AVE. They are seasonal flavors so sometime they only have regular. I did just two new flavors, not sure what they are but they are so yummy. I have quiet a collection of them now. http://www.japanbases.com/desktopmodules/activeforums/themes/grey/save32.png

touristy areas, around cultural sites, and esp on the toll road rest stops. Depending where you live, the rest stops have gift shops where regional & seasonal kit kat flavors can be found. This is where I have my best results.

I love the various flavors of Kit Kat in Japan! Royal milk tea, matcha (green tea), sakura (cherry blossom), wasabi, yuzu koshou (citrus/hot chili paste/salt), chestnut, purple sweet potato, strawberry, toasted soybean, cheese, black sesame, etc., etc., etc.!

I found a few of the more exotic flavors in large boxes in rest areas and souvenir shops, but most of the different flavors I found at my local 7-11. The flavors on offer change virtually week to week, all year round, so keep checking every time you go into a convenience store. When I was in Sasebo in January, I found wasabi flavored Kit Kats in the local 7-11.

These Kit Kat flavors are crazy! I've only been able to try the Green Tea and Dark Chocolate ones. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but I'd try them all at least once! I found them at a store inside the Mikasa Plaza on Blue Street in Yokosuka.
