BZ: I had an accident a few weeks ago, while going on a run, I had slipped and fell and hurt my leg. A good 10 to 15 minutes went by, as I sat down to recollect myself, bearing the hurt and bruises. There were many that passed by in their cars curiously looking on as to what happened but not stopping. Then a car pulled over with two gentlemen, they asked if I was alright and if I needed some assistance. They introduced themselves but all I can remember was that they were both captains. They then asked me if I would like to get in the car and be taken to the emergency room (ER). I told the gentlemen I was alright. They were still very concerned that I might not be able to move since I was still sitting down recollecting myself. They went out of their way to go to the ER themselves and get an ambulance to come out there for me. Sure enough, minutes later, an ambulance arrived but the gentlemen were gone. I wasn’t able to thank them for what they did. Here’s to you, our few good men, wherever you are captains, thank you and God bless!
