Q: There are some teenagers playing baseball behind my townhouse. There is a pretty good size area between each yard. Although I truly support teenagers playing sports and doing something active with their time, I was wondering if there was someplace more appropriate for them to play. The baseball has gone into several yards and has hit some windows and doors. Not only am I concerned that the ball might break a window, I am also concerned that it might hit one of the children playing in their backyard or someone walking by. I have seen them hopping fences to get their ball back. I don’t believe that the area that they are playing in is appropriate for baseball. Is there someplace else where they could be playing that would be better suited for them and the surrounding community?

A: Yes in Negishi, there is a ball field behind Housing Building 552. There are several in Ikego, three located near the main gate, two located as you drive toward the Ikego Campgrounds from the Main Gate and one as you drive towards the Mini-Mart from the Main Gate. Yokosuka has several ball fields, three along the sea wall across the street from the middle school and two in Berkey Field near Thew Gym.
