What is your FAVOURITE Christmas show and song?  Please also state which version if there are many!

Mine are Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (so many childhood memories waiting ALL season for this to come on TV, pre being sold on vcr tapes and dvds)  and the song, “This Christmas” sung by Johnny Hathaway.

However, don’t limit your answers to animated shows!

Charlie Brown Christmas, by far! When they actually dared to quote the story of the nativity directly from the Bible, that was ground-breaking stuff for a TV network.

I'm not much into Christmas songs. But probably my favorite is "Carol of the Bells" (you know... "hark how the bells, sweet silver bells" song).

The claymation Rudolph the red nose reinderr is my favorite too! and my favorite song is I want a
hippopotamus for christmass. I want a hippopotamus for christmass has only become my favorite because my son asked Santa last year for a sticker, a crayon, a pancake and a hippo-plat-o-mus. Im pretty sure he ment hippopotamus. I couldnt stop laughing when he said it. Im not sure where he got it from either. I think maybe grandpa was singing it to him on the phone.

Nightmare Before Christmas (hey, it's good for two Holidays!) and The Muppet's Christmas Carol.

I don't have a favourite song but I must always listen to Harry Connick Jr's Xmas stuff. Bob Dylan's CD he released last year will also be a repeat favourite. And I LOVE xmas punk songs.

My favorite is "The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven. Of course, "It's a Wonderful Life", "The Santa Clause" and "A Christmas Story" are at the top, too.

One movie that's not really a Christmas movie but an important part of the movie does occur at Christmas and during a Christmas program, is "Millions". It's a British movie about 2 young brothers who find themselves in possession of a very large sum of British pounds. The younger boy thinks it's a gift from God and wants to help poor people with it. The older brother is a little "Donald Trump" and wants to use the money for prestige and investment. Of course, the robber of the money comes looking for it! I highly recommend this movie!

Tie between "A Christmas Story" and "Charlie Brown Christmas". I just can't choose one.
