Q: I live in Hachiban tower and I have a question about the parking spots in front of the building. A few months ago they were installing small bumpers in the parking spaces in front of the building cutting off about a third of the parking space each car has. Why was it only done to some of the parking spaces and not all of them?

A: Parking bumpers were installed to specific areas located under the cherry trees due to problems and damage to vehicles associated with tree and bird droppings. We have decided not to provide bumpers throughout the parking area, because of safety concerns such as trip hazards. In the future we will be posting upcoming maintenance additions/deletions on the bulletin boards. Please contact your housing inspector if you need additional information.
