I was just wondering if anyone goes to Tokyo or Yokohama to see plays, musicals, etc.  The only one I know is Tokyo International Players. Sadly, I've never been, but I always check their lineup each and every year (I want to go and I will! Sometime!).  I hope it's okay to post their website here. If not, just delete it admin!

As for art, do you have any fun, cool, nifty galleries? I went to the one right beside Landmark Tower once.  It was pretty good but I forgot the name of the place so I never know what new presentations they have.  And I went to the one near Ueno zoo. If you've been to a gallery and you recommend it, please let me know!

    Thanks in advance

I love the Yokosuka Museum of Art. They have new exhibits all of the time and their permanent collection is worth seeing again and again. Very easy to get to - take the 16 south towards Kannonzaki - the museum is across the street from the Keikyu Kannonzaki Hotel. Also, the MOMA in Hayama is also amazing. http://www.moma.pref.kanagawa.jp/en...op.do?hl=h

I love the Tokyo National Art Center, they usually have amazing shows.

This is also a great website to find art shows in and around Tokyo. They even have a cool iPhone app ;-)

I watch Metroplis, it is a free magazine you can pick up that has theater listings. It also says whether they are in english or japanese. Sometimes we get road shows and national tours here. I have seen the Queen musical and heard of Xanadu, The Heights and West Side Story tours. The stripes kanto concert listings online are also about the most accurate and up to date listings I have found for concerts. they kind of fall down on the theater listings though.
