Anybody heard anything about this?! Turns out the tours of the site will be open for touring on October 29, 2010. I hear it hasn't been accessed since the 1950's. I gotta see this thing for myself. I wonder what effects the meteor has caused?..

I wonder if this is just going to be a Halloween type event/one time deal or if it will be offered in the future!

I''m very interested, I wish we knew more details.

Given the tag-line/disclaimer at the bottom... And brought to you by the hospital SCPOA (whatever that is). It is just for Halloween.

I did hear this is the "grown-ups" haunted house. Should be pretty good.

It's definitely gonna be a scare. Last year's halloween event was pretty good and I've heard it has been stepped up from last year.

Okay, so is the meteor real or not, lol? It was just a rumor according to that other thread. It'd be friggen' awesome if it was.

Either way, I'm stoked now that I realize it's a "Halloween event". Hurr durr. lol.

So, this event will be going on behind Yokosuka's PSD in the warehouse (Building E-18.) It is going to kick off at 1700 and will last until 2100. Last year's event was amazing! This one is expected to be even better. I'll have more info coming in the next couple days. Check out the flier that's on the first posting in this forum.

Does anyone besides me remember the old Seaside Club? I have no idea when it became a chain restaurant. It was a wild place anytime the Midway got underway. 'nuff said.

Because last year wwas the first time we did the Haunted Hospital, we didn't expect much.
We had a little over 800 people show up last year. Much better than we expected.
This year's event has been stepped up and the production is bigger and better.
It should be a cool scare.

The Haunted Hospital's "The Legend of the Yokosuka Meteor" haunted attraction has been postponed due to weather. The new date is 05NOV2010 (next Friday). Nothing else changes about the event. The cost is still $2 per tour of the facility. It will still be held in E-18 (Warehouse behind PSD) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm (1700-2100). The will be food booths as well as a photo booth setup outside of the facility. Please accept the apologies of the SCPOA Haunted Hospital. Due to the chance of sever weather, the event has been moved to next week.

So glad to hear they are postponing rather than canceling! I can't wait!

btw, what do you recommend as age appropriate? Obviously won't be bringing a toddler...

First of all I echo Tirani's comment about postponing the event rather than cancelling.
    Cancelling was never considered.
Age appropriate would depend on the individual. My wife wouldn't go through last year and she's ... well she is an adult.
I can say that the production this year is better than last year's event and it probably won't be a happy passive experience while on the tour. Some spooky stuff, creepy stuff, scary stuff, and a bit of gory stuff. maybe more than a bit.
The staff and volunteers are really looking forward to putting this event on and hope CFAY won't forget about us next Friday, November 5 from 5-9 p.m. bldg E-18 (the warehouse behind PSD).

A new flyer and Youtube video should be out this weekend with the updated info.

    Get your scare on.
