Where is the nearest AIU office from the main gate in Yokosuka?

It's by the auto port....in the building between the autoport and lodge.

The off base one, you go left out the main gate, then take the first small street on your left and there it is.

There is another one directly out the main gate and slightly right up on the second or third floor.

Now I must ask, why AIU? There are so many other insurance companies and you'd be better insured away from AIU as if an AIU customer hits an AIU customer the settlement isn't much...AIU customer hits SONY customer then the settlement is really argued.

The reason for AIU is this is what I already have on my car. I'm coming up to Yoko on business from Iwakuni & will sell my car while I'm there. I can transfer the AIU from the old car to the new one I am buying from Mr. Auto. Down here, AIU is the only one near the gate so that's pretty much what everyone uses.

So the office you're talking about, I go out the gate & take a right? Then it will be in a building across from the base? I was in Yokosuka years ago, but I don't recall a "slight right." There is either right, left, or straight into the Honch.

Ok...You go out the main gate, there is now a walking bridge to cross the road. Once you cross the road stay on sixteen and the first building on the corner (place where bar mash, and the corn dog place is...I think the name is Bumble Bee) that same building or the one next door to it up on the second floor is Tanaka Insurance (AIU) here is a link to Google Maps showing a picture of the building.

Hey, cool bridge! Yokosuka has come a long way in 15 years. :-P Except the corn dog place is still there. Anyway, thanks for the help.
