Okay so every year we have lived here the exchange has only carried the small die cast Thomas toys with out any tracks. So this morning walking through the store what do I see but acutal Thomas TOYS!!!!!!!.Lots of differnt kinds of thomas. They even had the track masters thomas and friends series that run on a battery. Down side they didnt have any of the tracks that go with the trains.

The upside is last year my husband bought a small cheap 500yen oval track that came with one of the Japanesse bullet looking trains.  That blue track fits the mastertrack trains. The tracks also fit alot of those trains that are made buy fisher price. I forget the name of them my mom sent my son about 5 of the trains for chrismass two years ago with out any tracks. Thye fit the 100yen store trains too and most of the battery powered trains they sell out in town.So long story short one set of tracks fits about 4 or5 differnt brands of trains. The really great part of these tracks is there is no bottom side. they are the same on both sides so once you get enuff you can make whatever shape you want.My son is constantly taking them apart and putting them back together in new and interesting ways. They are cheaper than buying the master tracks too! And it cuts down on the junk! Its so nice not to have to go out and buy 4 or 5 differnt sets of tracks! sorry thought I would share
