Anyone have any luck or knowledge about shipping a TV back home.  I really like the unit I have but it's just over the 72" postal size limit on itself, so a packing box will definitely take it way over.

You may ship your TV in its original packaging. If you no long have it you can still ask them to pack it. But the company and the millitary are not liable for the TV if it breaks with out the original packaging.

Oh he sorry thats if you let the movers do it when you PCS. Im not sure about the post office. And where did my edit button go?

Unfortunately I'm a contractor so I don't get the option of having a PCS move - it's all on my own dime, and given the expense of shipping I'll be selling the big stuff and shipping the small.

Looks like I'll be taking a hit on the TV then.
