    YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — Nineteen incidents of vandalism in a one-year span led to an after hours, off-limits order at Yokosuka schools, several more than initially reported, officials said Monday.

    After further review of security documents, the base found incidents of vandalism totalling $5,000 in damage between July 2009 and July 2010, base public affairs official Michelle Stewart said Monday.

    Most of the incidents involved graffiti sprayed on buildings and vehicles, Stewart said.
