    Hi Dave, do you have any insight into these companies or you're just reposting links? I have extensive background into C4ISR systems management, and in fact I worked for both CSC and Northrop Grumman on Navy contracts in San Diego. I'd be interested in re-entering this field in Japan if you have any leads or contacts.

    It all depends on the company. You can apply online for most. If you are working for a contractor that works for the DOD you usually get SOFA. A lot hire US locals, wifes of services members or Vets that live here locally. If you have the skills in demand they may bring you over here. I will say that some have met some employees that companies bring over here and there families live back in the states.

    i`d recommend staying away from alutiiq`s office, as it is a complete waste of time. the new boss is just like the old. if your not his friend or a dependent, you`re sh*t out of luck when it comes to getting a decent job. i`m currently employed there (just while going to school), and ive experienced it first hand.
