This is the ONLY company that you will need to call to install the AFN satellite. After trying to get mine correctly pointed for weeks, these guys LITERALLY had it pointed in LESS than 2 minutes without any tools, instruments whatsoever!

    NESCO 046-833-2980

They are in the Yokosuka area. I think the cost was about $100 bucks, but I'm not sure. If you use this service, please post your reviews afterwards. Thanks.

We might have to cough up the 100 bucks to get ours working.

Anyone have the correct coordinates....I read earlier that the ones from self help were wrong. We tried using those coordinates and had no luck. Any tips on getting it up and running?

The hubby finally got the satellite up and running.  We tried unsuccessfully two times before, but got it this time!  We borrowed a small portable television from a friend and took it outside next to the satellite dish.  Having it right there made it easier to try and gauge where the signal is.  It took about 10 minutes to find the signal.  I don't know if doing it on a clear, sunny day made a difference, but the last two times we attempted to get a signal, it was cloudy out.

I'm glad we didn't have to pay someone to come out to do it....especially since it only took 10 minutes to lock in the signal!   So, to all of you trying to do it on your own, don't give up!  It can be done!

Has NESCO install mine, I tried but couldn't get it to work with the instructions you get from housing. Turns out I was pointing it in the direction the instructions said to but it needed to point about 30 deg in a different direction. Working fine now, after a 10,000 yen bill.
