I'm looking for someone to junk our van. I'm at sea and my wife is in Ikego with 2 little boys. I do know the Autoport junks cars; however, they're backed up for a few weeks and the JCI and everything else expires on the 20th. I'm looking for someone to take our van, do all of the running around required (LTO, etc..)

If you're looking to assist/make a little money on the side, please shoot me a private message and let me know your fee.

    Thanks,
    Ed

The USO was looking for a donated van. Maybe they would be willing to take it as-is and do an LTO run and update JCI. If it runs, they may want it.

    I saw their ad here:

It would help them and you....

Mom of 3 Redheads, I edited your above post to provide the person the link to the classified for USO.

Here is a some other resources from past discussions:

I recommend if your just trying to get rid of it quickly, you can take it to the AUTOPORT if you live near Yokosuka. Usually each base has a facility you can take your vehicle and they will junk the car for you.
    AUTOPORT is free.

There are also places near Yokosuka, that if you bring your vehicle they will actually give you money for it.
I dont know exactly about it, but a friend of mine, Mr. Auto, can probably point you in the right direction.

Here is a post about Mr. Auto:
