Are you a Navy spouse new to military life? Or new to Yokosuka and looking to make friends and network? Maybe you're a seasoned Navy spouse who would like to share your wisdom with others. If any of this applies to you, come check out COMPASS!

COMPASS is a standardized Team-Mentoring program developed by spouses for spouses. COMPASS focuses on spouses new to the Navy, however; ALL Navy spouses are welcome. COMPASS improves quality of life through education, enabling spouses to understand, experience and meet the challenges of the Navy lifestyle. With this knowledge and realistic expectations, their journeys can be successful and rewarding.

Our upcoming dates for 2010 are:
    September 14-16 (T,W,TH), 0900-1300
    October 26-28 (T,W,TH), 0900-1300
*All COMPASS sessions take place in the new Community Readiness Center, Room 223 (2nd Floor)*

Breakfast and Lunch are provided and we reimburse for childcare!

Please go to www.gocompass.org for registration or call Christina at 246-7931.

I loved the COMPASS program. I learned so many new things! The food was great and the "Mentors" were fun and knowledgable! The Chaplain's section was very informative and fun.

I would encourage any spouse (male, female, Japanese, new spouse, seasoned spouse) to attend this program.
