I know it will be located in the same building as Americable. The have parking spaces painted for Second Hand Rose customers already.

Do you know where the Chief's Club is? It's located on the main road running from the front gate. There is a parking garage close to the Chief's Club, and the building Americable is in is directly behind it. (you can park in that parking garage to get to there, too)

What exactly is the Second Hand Rose?

It is a second hand store. People bring there used items, and they sell them at a discount price.

i just saw an ad posted in our building saying Second Hand Rose will be open on SEPTEMBER 2ND

My source said the 1st week of September as well. I know there is lots of work that has gone on to get it open.

Does anyone know if they are going to have the same hours as before?

Second Hand Rose has an add in the Seahawk that says they are hiring two part time positions-manager and cashier. Nothing about pay but doesn't look volunteer work.

I think the profits go to charity through the Yokosuka Officers' Spouses Club.

I know someone in the Officer's Spouse Club and she said that the profits go to scholarships (might be something else too, but I remember that one).
