    Question about places to reside. Do you all think it is possible to live in Central Tokyo and commute to Camp Zama on daily basis?? i.e Driving, Trains, Buses

    The train from Shinjuku to Zama would be about an hour and then you'd have to walk to the base (about 15 minutes to the gate as I remember it) after that. Shinjuku is on the western edge of downtown Tokyo and very crowded and very expensive.

    It's not something I'd consider doing.
