One thing that I've noticed is that a lot of the furniture in the home store seems to be very "tradition" and "oversized." Although, traditional furniture might appeal to some, I personally would like to see more contemporary furniture. Oversized furniture is not really practical for homes in Japan....there seems to be so many for sale there. Perhaps they sell a lot for those people that live on base?????

I do like the fact that we can order furniture from certain online websites and have it delivered here. I only wish there was a better selection on the storeroom floor for us that like the contemporary / modern look.

Why is it, the furniture available at the NEX is so much more expensive than the stuff I can order from Ashleys?? I ordered a bedroom set that came out to be almost $400 less than a bed frame alone at the NEX...

Do you sell adirondack chairs?  Sorry for not just coming in to see for myself, but I'm out in Negishi with 2 kids and I hate to come all that way to find out the answer is no.  thanks!

Thank you. WE are working very hard with our HQ to downsize the scale of much of our furniture, and to also offer a more contemporary look for those who want that style. Yu will see more changes coming February 2011, so visit us soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Many members ask about pricing. On average, we are actually around 22% cheaper than any main stateside competitor, such as the Ashley Furniture Homestore. When you compare like items to like items, I have never had the NEX come in more expensive than a competitor, unless it was a close out or discontinued item. Thanks.

Is there any way we can just have lamp shades for sale? I have lamps that work fine, but thanks to having a toddler who thought it be funny to color on my lamp shades, it would be nice to find something on the base to get, not only ordering online. Black or White will work just fine, but to have something on base would be nice. Thanks!
