I have posted a few items for fun places to go.

    Nogeyama Zoo (near Negishi)

The zoo is perfect for people with younger kids. It takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to walk around the zoo. The animals are in smaller cages but they seem healthy. Feeding times vary but usually begin around 2:30 or 3:00. Bring a Lunch!! There is a small snack area but nothing major.
    Opening Hours: 9:30 – 16:30 (No entry after 16:00)
Closed on Mondays (Tuesday when Sunday or Monday is a public holiday).

    Tickets
    Admission is free.

    How to get there
From Yokohama Station, take the JR Negishi Line to Sakuragicho Station and then you have to walk for about 15 minutes.
If you want to drive, it is a little confusing . There is no parking at the actual zoo but there is parking within a block at the city library.

    Address:63-10 Oimatsu-cho, Nishi-ku, Yokohama-shi, 220-0032
    Phone: 045 231 1307
    Fax: 045 231 3842

    Akiya Beach

"It is a general belief that these islands might have been inhabited even before 650 AD. During the Kamakura period, these islands were administered by the governors who ruled the Izumo Province. From 710 AD, these islands were used as the outpost for persons exiled from the mainland. Emperor Go-Toba was exiled to Dōgo from 1198 to 1239. Emperor Go-Daigo was sent on exile to Nishino-shima from 1331 to 1333. There is a Japanese myth that says that the Akiya Beach is where a Japanese Goddess gave birth to her child."

It is located very close to Yokosuka.Plenty of parking available too.

If you venture to Shin Yokohama there is an ice rink that is open from 2:30 to 5:30.
Some of the top coaches in Japan coach there. Down the road is the Ramen museum. Underground the Ramen museum there is another Ramen shop it is reconstructed to look like a Japanese town. You can also sample some noodles.
