Online Academic Skills Course –

Peterson’s Online Academic Skills Course (OASC) is designed for Sailors who want to build their reading comprehension, vocabulary and math skills to pass their exams, excel in their jobs, advance their careers or continue their education.

Effective Sept. 30, Navy College Program will no longer provide the Academic Skills Course Instructor-led and the Navy College Learning Center computer-based programs.

Students can prepare for ASVAB, SAT/ACT, GED, ASSET Test or college placement tests through OASC online.

Certificates are issued upon completion of the course for Sailors requiring to retake ASVAB testing to meet qualifications for a new rating.

The final two Instructor – led Academic Skills courses still have seats available for the Aug. 9-20 and Sept. 13-24 courses.

No cost temporary additional duty (TAD) orders are required to reserve your seat.
