Q: I would like to know the current policy about selling something on base during one of the many open base festivals we have for our host neighbors. My plan was to set up a booth out in town while people wait in line to enter the base and another booth inside the base. I would be glad to show you what I plan to sell if you have questions about it. Of course this question applies to the other bases as well.

A: Fundraising on-base during festivals is limited to private organizations officially recognized by CFAY. For additional details on how to get your group recognized, please contact the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) at 243-8915. Please note that not all on-base festivals allow fundraising by private groups. To determine which ones allow fundraising by private groups please contact the MWR Recreation Office at 241-4431. For details on policies at other USFJ installations it is recommended that their local SJA Office or equivalent be contacted directly.
