Hi, I was wondering if anyone who's taken this class can tell me if it's like a lamaze class? My husband's deployed and if it is, I want to make sure I bring someone with me! Thanks!

def not a lamaze class. you'd think with how many women get/are pregnant out here they would have classes like that. you basically sit in a room with other moms to be and they go over things you already know. a few things you may not. but mostly things youve read in pregnancy books. when i was there in may they were talking about another class that is or was starting that was along those lines i think. sorry i cant remember the name. but if you attend the class im sure they will bring it up. there is preggo yoga. something i wish i would have taken. anyhoo. i have a hypnobirthing book if youre interested in it, just for reading into something different. pm me if youd like it. maybe i can mps it to ya. take care.

Tottaly a waste of time if you already know some basics of parenting. I didn't know anything and I still thought it was a waste of my time. (March 2010). It you have friends who have babies, then you probably will get the same information. The Baby budge class from NMRCS is cool because you get a free care package. That care package is awesome. Make sure you get it.

FFSC was supposed to start up another Baby Massage class but I don't know if they got a new teacher. I've been really disappointed with the classes they have offered But, the new Parent Program is pretty cool. I think it would be better to sign up with them.
