NEGISHI FAMILY HOUSING INSTALLATION’S VISITOR PARKING AREA VEHICLE PARKING PERMIT REQUIREMENT



All Negishi residents are required to obtain a parking permit for guests parking in the Visitor’s Parking Area.

This area is located outside the fenceline between the main gate and CNFJ Fire Department.

The “PARKING PERMIT” is not the same as a one day vehicle pass.

(One day vehicle pass is for access to the Negishi Family Housing Installation only.)

Y-Plated Vehicles and Kanji Plated Vehicles displaying Installation Identification stickers and legally registered through the VRO Office do not require the parking permits.

This initiative is designed to clearly identify vehicles belonging to registered guests and assist in efforts to prevent illegal parking in this area.

To obtain the permit, the sponsor and his/her guest must meet the following requirements:

1. The sponsor is required to appear at the Main Gate with his/her guest and the following documents when they request a parking permit.

a). Vehicle Registration Title

b). JCI

C). Guest’s driver’s license

2. The permit is valid for a maximum of 72 hours from the time of issue.

3. Illegally parked vehicles are subject to be disabled with wheel boots and/or towed at owners expense.

4. Any loss/damage to vehicles in this area falls under the sole responsibility of the owner.

USN and the United States Government are not responsible for vehicles parked in this area.

Is this office still open and able to provide the complete service of registering a vehicle? I have a vehicle that I need to get registered but I don't have the time to spend all day in Yokosuka to do it.
