Ikego Base Pet Owner's Responsibilities

1. Pets must be on a leash while outside of their fenced backyard and pet owners’ must pick up their pets’ waste.

2. Numerous complaints have been reported to the Housing Office of pet owners not picking up after their pets nor using a leash while outside their fenced backyard. This is an irresponsible practice and causes much concern to the community. All pet owners should be thoroughly aware of the pet owner’s responsibilities as stated in the residents’ handbook while residing in government quarters housing.

3. Persons noting pet owners violating this policy, or any other policies, are strongly encouraged to contact the Housing Office at 242-4250/246-8027 and/or the CFAY OIC Office at 242-4101/246-8042.

Callers are requested to have as much information identifying information as possible, such as name of pet owner; time, date, and place of offense; and any other information that will help to positively identify the offender.
