My family moved into a tower on at Ikego August of 09.  Since then they have rewaxed/polished/buffed the floors in the hallways and elevators 3 or 4 times.  Do they only do the apartments between residents?  Or do they try to do it while the apartment is occupied?

    Thanks.

I think they must do them when people move out (they paint and clean, so I'm assuming the do the floors as well). While you're living in the apartment, the floors are entirely your responsibility.

I know it's my responsiblity to clean them but I wasn't sure if I should be concerned at all about the wax finish.

    Thanks

No, I don't think so. I suppose if you were just dying to have shiny, waxed floors, you could see if self-help has strippers and buffers, but I think they just consider that as something to do between tenants.

When we moved out of Mayport housing, we had to strip and re-seal the stupid floors when we moved out. That was super-fun with a 4 year old and a pair of 18 month olds.
