BZ : I would like to take a moment to share my thoughts on a few of your employees and their programs. I don’t think we take the time to say thanks for the good things that our base provides for us. I am referring to Robert Sloan, Debbie Deutsch and Glen Preston, among several others. Robert Sloan recently started a program and competition, which provides the participants with expert help with fitness and nutrition. This phenomenal program is something I would have to pay big bucks for in the states. The program runs fairly smoothly considering the large number of participants. Going hand and hand with the Intense program, are the MWR fitness classes. I have enjoyed several aerobic classes taught by wonderful instructors such as: Tanja’s stroller class, Paula’s step and Kaz’s aqua aerobics. I appreciate Debbie and Glen’s efforts to bring exciting classes to the base like Zumba. Let’s not forget the wonderful Aerobathon and family-friendly 3k and 5k runs that Debbie regularly facilitates for our base. I also would like to send a big “thanks” to the folks over at Purdy who facilitated family workouts by creating the child-watch room services. I can honestly say y’all are providing world-class service! We are truly privileged to have access to such great facilities!
