Now to add more nerdness the the site. I am moving to Yokosuka in October 2010, and am a dedicated gamer. I primarily play Warhammer 40k but am open to other games. I have a game table and scenery and if there were enough gamers and supplies were available I would have no problem starting some kind of club in housing or on base. Oh, cause my husband likes the RPG stuff, not video, but sit around the table and make up your character and have a DM kind of stuff. He also has a lot of war games.

My husband and I live in Negishi and we are interested in joining or starting a RPG group. We are familiar with D&D, Whitewolf and other table top game systems. We also enjoy some card and board games. (Munchkin and Arkham Horror mostly)

We own munchkin and munchkin cthulu. We have never heard of Ticket to Ride. Have you ever played Arkham Horror?

I've heard the name, but no, haven't played. Ticket to Ride is a train route building game. We have a lot of fun playing it. Let's see, I 'm pretty sure we have Munchkin Chuthlu , Quest, and every expansion card set they've come out with. I think hubby took all of them on the ship cause I can't find them here. We love all the puns used on the cards like "Komodo Dragon" and there's a dragon in the toilet!

So I live on base Yokosuka and since my family is not here for a while I am open to starting some form of gameing here on base. I can play whatever and am open to any kind of gameing. I am primarily set up for table top games, like Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. We can game, paint models or have certain nights where different games are played. I will be out to sea for a couple of weeks but when I come back, as long as my schedual is maintained I may have a lot of time in port. As an added subject, has anyone seen the new D&D board games that they are selling at the NEX? Are the any good? It has been a long time since I have played D&D or White wolf. I don't play (because I have no idea how to), but my husband does, he's been looking for other gamers and hasn't had much luck. We arrived in Japan in October 2010 & are stationed at Camp Zama. I've never been to yokosuka, but I've heard it's close. Anyone know of any ongoing gaming in the Zama area?

I have never been to Camp Zama. I do know that there are three of us that play out here in Yokosuka and possibly more. Tell your husband about this and maybe he can get in touch with us so we know what he plays. You are also invited to play, These games are easy and fun to play and fun to paint and put together. I want to try to get enough gamers together so that we can start haveing games days at someone's house or even renting out a party room in one of the towers on one of the bases.
