    Hello,
              Any and all information would be welcomed.
    Want to marry a Filiopino woman here in Japan.
    She would be coming to Japan with a tourist visa
    I have been living here for 3 years. I have resident certificate for Japan.
    I work here as a contractor and have SOFA status in passport.
    Any one have experience with this? What is required by Japanese government to
    get married?
    I did find on internet that she would have to file resident paper after marriage.
    I also sent email to Philiphine embassy in Tokyo asking for help, but have not
    received a reply.
    Would appreciate any and all responses.

    Secondly, I assume you're a woman. Otherwise, you will be marrying a Filipina. And the country is Philippines, not Phillipine. Best wishes!

    My best advise is to ask around among the Filipino community on base.  I am certain they know how to do this.
