Hey all! I think it's about that time again! Last time we had a lunch, so let's go for a night out again in June!

I think we should plan it around a pay day as that we may get a few more people inclined to go, and Fridays seem to work out well.

So, when would everyone like to plan this for? And where would you like to go?
(remember, closer to train Stations, the better).

I'll let everyone throw their $0.02 in before I toss in a couple of my own ideas.

Also, this is for EVERYONE! If you're reading this, you're invited!

Here's a look at our last Night Out to DOMA DOMA Izakaya!

There is a new chinese place I went to the other day. It just opened I think last month. Its very affordable, and very good.
They have plenty of room in the back for us to all gather in. Its right near Life Town Housing, just a tad bit futher, on the right in the Honch.

mMmmMmMmMMMM.... Honch. Is good. How about the all-you-can-eat place above allday's? and I know nirvana's has a little separate section that will fit a decent sized bunch.
Warning: Eventually, I WILL say something that offends you. This is perfectly normal. My recommendation: get over it.

Well, if we don't eat in the Honch... I think we'll eventually end up there, lol.

Where is Allday's? I'm drawing a blank here. But all-you-can-eat is good. 'Specially if they have drinks specials, too.

Chinese is good, so is Indian... but people get picky. I know a lot of people who will not touch Indian (Mediterranean). I didn't find people until recently who will eat with me besides the Husband. But I am so up for that anytime, really. I think we should have an "Indian Dinner Night" get together (if we don't do that this time around). Lol.

I took the flier from the Izakaya above TGIFs the other day. Their dinner course meals look awesome. I'll scan it and put it up soon.

We're trying to do it monthly, so no worries! And if you wanna get out, post on the boards, I'm sure you'll have some takers if you plan it out.

Do you guys get the drink special too? That so worth it!

That's another idea, if it comes down to, the all you can eat and drink special they have. I think it comes with like 40 different items to pick from and then drinks.

I am so looking forward to this night out. Having been sick for the last 3 weeks, I haven't gotten off the sofa much, much less off base so I'm looking forward to. And anything is good with me. I don't know too many places that have large areas for groups so I can't really offer any suggestions, but I'll go along with anything. A place that has an all-you-can-drink special would definitely be a bonus. I'll keep checking for details. See you all next month!

Yea we always get the all you can eat and drink, over the past month they raised the price and changed some of the menu items but we still make it hurt. They also added some new drink too we went last month and it was by far the best. I think this next time I will come with a 6 pack of alsakan amber for who ever serves us ( I just think for the work that they do and crap we put them through it's the least I could do lol)

Sam -Well, at least you're in Spokane! We hope be out that way next.

    Erin -Glad to hear it!

Prime -Darn, how much is it now? I need to go with somebody like you. I'm used to going with girls that won't eat much, when I had starve myself for a day and half for it and pig out, lol.

So what day would be better for everyone? Friday the 4th or 18th? I'll scan that flier today, too!

Kristy --I'm so glad we found each other! I think we're on the same page with enjoying the food here! LOL. (All-you-can-eat back in the States always sucked, they rock too much here to pass up, even if I'm in agony afterward, heh).

So, the Izakaya worked out VERY well last time. There is the one above TGIF that is cool, they're a big chain and have party menus (with all you can drink!). And then there is "Sakura", which Yuko rec'd. I haven't been there, but she said it was cheap! Magic words, ha ha.

EDIT: I found Izakaya Sakura online. It's looks like a good place for seafood and sushi/sashimi.

The one above TGIF's is the "Watami" chain. Very nice looking and they have English menus along with party menus. I grabbed one of the menus to scan while I was there last (my meal was cut short, but their regular menu is HUGE).

Here's a look at the Party menu on the website, page 2.  (Bigger look at the pic above)
Here's a look at the regular menu. It's 20 pages long!!!

All the course meals on the party menu look really good! 'Specially the big one in the middle. Even the cheapest one is awesome.

Here's another one in the "Watami" chain. They specialize in Yakitori, it looks like.

    Izakaya Wataminchi.

The above are course meals that go for 3-3,500! Including all you can drink, of course!

    So, so far we've got.
    -Chinese
    -Nirvana's Indian
    -All-you-can-eat above Allday's (I don't what this is yet, sorry~)
-Gyu-Kaku yakiniku (all you can eat/drink menu)
    -Watami Izakaya
    -"Sakura" Izakaya

Any more suggestions? And we need to pick a day.

This one has courses for 3,500 yen for THREE HOURS, including all you can drink. Amazing deal! Has anyone been here?

They also have 2,500 one for two hours!

    Izakaya "Kamon"

    <----3,500 food/drink course!

It's off of Blue Street, located kinda between AkaOni's and TGIF.

And then this one has good deals on course menus also, and the private banquet rooms looks really, really cool!

    Izakaya "Wan"

They have two different 3,500 yen courses that include all you can drink. Nice!

It's in the same building as Doma Doma, the Izakaya we went to last time (Close to More's and TGIF for the unfamiliar).

Liz, I'm good with either of those dates. On the 4th my hubby would be able to come, which would be kind of nice. But on the 18th, I'll be on my own and can go and do whatever I want without having to worry about what he wants to do! And anything with all you can drink included is good by me! I'm definitely with you and Kristy on the all you can eat and drink. The food here is too good to pass up!

Hmmm, I'm kinda wondering if we should wait til the 18th then. That way people can focus on their SO on the 4th. I know it's a lot to ask to give up a Friday for people. I know I probably would be iffy about it!

I've found a lot of really cool Izakayas when I was searching... I really think we should do that!

Hi everyone, this is obviously not happening on the 4th. But the 18th... I think.

I went to Izakaya "Wan" last week and was very impressed. I'm going to "Kamon" tomorrow. Both are linked above.

I think we should go to one of the Izakayas for the course menu and all you can drink deal. I'll report back to say if "Kamon" is worth it or not... so far "Wan" is winning with me because of the private rooms, great food, and cool decor.

But if you have another place you want to throw in for consideration, please do!

Hey guys, just wondering if people were still interested? If so, we can start orchestrating this for the 18th. Or, move it to another date.

I did visit Izakaya "Kamon". Nice, cheap. What more do you need?

Ah, Watami? That's a good one! Probably the most expensive, though. 18th, it is then.

I think it should be between Watami (Y3,500-5,000) Wataminchi (Y3-3,500), Kamon (Y2,500-3,500), and Wan (Y3,500). All are very close to each and by Blue Street and Chuo. All the prices include course meals and all you can drink. (and they're listed on the front page with pics and links).

    So, help us pick, peeps.

I really like Wan. The Izakaya is really pretty and nice. But Kamon we could go for really cheap --Y2,500!
