If you are trying to send someone a message you must be friends with them. Initiate a friend request and then send messages easily. You can however bypass this, by looking at the forum post of the person you are trying to contact and click the little mail icon on the left. That works too.

If you visit your personal profile page, there are settings in the MYSETTINGS link, which allow you to customize your notification, and set who can contact you. Friends only, everyone, no one...

I will do some tests to see why you couldn't see her profile.

btw.. I never noticed the little mail icon! That's so cool!

Try accessing each others profile pages once more.

You can easily get to someones profile page, by clicking on their picture.

You can send them a PRIVATE MESSAGE easily by clicking on the little icon (MAIL) in their forum post profile box

Once you are friends with someone, its easy to find them, by visiting your profile page. If you click the tab on your profile page for FRIENDS, it will have a link next to each person to send the person a Private Message.

Nope. Still doesn't work. When I click on her name or her "pic" it goes to the member directory. When I search the member directory she is not listed. Did she delete her account? Thx.

Now it works for Angi's profile. I just had to go into her profile and fix a few things.

One thing, if you go to your PROFILE and click MYSETTINGS, under notifications, you can change who can send you messages.

If you set it to EVERYONE, the link SEND MESSAGE will appear on your profile page, even if they are not friends.

Earlier members, I think before I reached 800, had different settings, by default. Some of those members, may need to change their profile visibility setting to EVERYONE. There is an option in your MYSETTINGS section.
